History
The formation of the Road Dawgs Motorcycle Club began as the idea of Trooper Mark "Mr. Tibbs" Thibodeau of the NH State Police in June of 1995. Over the period of approximately 14 months, Mark Thibodeau discussed and developed his idea with others, notably Trooper Mark "Armo" Armaganian also of the NH State Police. The intent was to develop a phone list of police officers that could call each other, rather than ride alone.
The initial club ride took place in September of 1996. Six NH Troopers (Mark Thibodeau, Mark Armaganian, Eric Johnson, Chuck Hanson, Pat Palmer and Bruce Mathews) rode 1100 miles roundtrip in the course of two days to southern Maryland to attend the National Troopers Coalition (NTC) picnic.
The trip was made on the heels of Hurricaine Fran, making much of the ride in torrential downpours, high winds and cold weather. No matter what mother nature threw at the first Road Dawgs, the historical ride was still considered fun and enjoyable.

Historical fact: The first Road Dawg club house was located in Manchester, NH. It was the garage of Neville Pererra, a good friend and neighbor of Mr. Tibbs. Neville is the only civilian Road Dawg member having joined in it's infancy. He continues to ride with the club whenever he can. Neville recently (Aug. 2009) opened a new bar and grill named, Ignite on Hanover Street, Manchester, NH.
